As CPI's Executive Director, I welcome you to review our website and to visit with us in our new state-of-the-art treatment facility. CPI has been providing services to the community for almost 40 years. Our goal is to help clients return to an independent level of functioning through progressive innovative treatment and efficient use of our resources. Our program offers an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization as well as a step-down following inpatient care. Client days are spent in treatment, which permits nights with family and friends. This model provides for better community adjustment and reduces treatment costs.
I encourage you to call or email me to arrange for a mutually convenient time to visit with us. I am sure you will be impressed with our brand new facility.

Welcome to CPI
Community Psychiatric Institute (CPI), founded in 1972, is a private, non-for-profit ambulatory behavioral health program. We provide psychiatric and biopsycho- social services in a partial hospitalization setting for the adult mentally ill and the mentally ill chemical abuser.
CPI's comprehensive program is designed to provide continuity of care following inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or as an alternate to psychiatric hospitalization. Our staff works with clients to maximize their level of functioning by providing a full range of therapeutic and rehabilitative services.
CPI serves those individuals who exhibit an impaired ability to function autonomously on a daily basis due to the presence of an acute or chronic disabling emotional, cognitive and/or social dysfunction.
CPI has relocated to a brand new facility in May of 2009. Our partial care services are set in a comfortable therapeutic environment. Our new facility's amenities include spacious and ample group rooms, a modern cafeteria and day room, private outdoor area for eating and socializing, private interview rooms, and total handicapped accessibility including elevator. We have added a medical suite including a waiting room, psychiatrist and nursing offices, and an exam room.
